I instantly fell in love but turned green at the same time because I'm jealous I didnt think of it first.

I came across this quote on suzanne's blog.. while ironically looking for inspiration for one of my projects.

Citrus.

Ever since I was 15 I have been expressing my creativity through my hair.

If I'm Inspired. Or even a little bored, I tend to switch it up.

First was purple, then orange-ish red (when I got a bang) 

I tried and failed with blue..which turned green and caused me to resort to black, I spiced it up in fall with auburn,

which led to red

It washed out and I rocked light brown,

I got bored and lightened up things with blonde, 

and finally burned up with red AGAIN...

Over the years I have had many colors, but I always fall back to red.

But finally I have decided to step out of the norm and become a red head

.. I KNOW, I KNOW.. I just said red head! But what I mean is

 the orange type of red head.

I'm usually a little spicy with my fire engine red but now im sour.

SOooo just call me CITRUS. :) 

Jenga 7.0 - PORTMANTEAU

Once again we are having to reform and reorder our concepts to fit the pieces of another puzzle.  We have travelled through the 7 Jenga's and have made it to a point from 1 to 3 to 6 to 12! 

It sounds exhausting and I am positive that it will be. More minds means that there will be more opinions which can be a problem but I feel that the collaboration between [E]merge and Trepide could result in a plethora of diverse talent in both hand and computer skills. 

Together the two groups form together to become Team Portmanteau. 

Portmanteau is a word used to describe the blending of two words with two different meanings morphed into one word... like brunch! 

The team name is the perfect representation of the two groups coming together as one. We both emphasize strong axis' of Vertical and Horizontal elements which both speak the same language but in different dialects.. We both have the same concepts, each group simply presents them differently.

 Finding similarities between the two wont be difficult, it is maintaining your designer voice within a room full of voices who are just as loud which will be the challenge.

I've been meaning to blog about this artist for so long... I came across her work years ago

Her technique is so unique... so beautiful. 

Of course Im a fan of the "splats" or dots (I use them to add character to my own work) but what blows my mind is that she uses ink to create these beautiful master pieces.

who knew that there is a "color of the year"?? ...well i surely didn't!

However, you would already assume that I was aware of this because I have been completely obsessed with the color for the past few months!

[well.. maybe the pink im obsessed with is a little more on the neon side... but this sweet shade of pink is just as yummy!]
