I.A.R 110 Project #1: Sticks and Cell Phones

The Task was to draw 188 drawings in three sessions, inspired by your own cell phone and choice of stick (borrowed from the nature outside). Session one, divide two sheets (18x24) into 16 blocks and create contour drawings based on the stick (on one sheet) and the cell phone (on the other). We had to draw a variety of angles based on these two objects, reduce it to parts and magnify and enlarge on details.
Session two, divide two sheets of paper (18x24) into 64 thumbnail blocks; with a total of 128 drawings. Take the previous 32 drawings and exaggerate, simplify, rotate, combine and layer the patterns and designs created, or create a set of completely different drawings inspired by the stick and the cell phone. Then analyze each sheet of 64 drawings and combine the patterns, lines and detail from both the stick and the cell phone to create a new set of 32 drawings (on one sheet of 18x24).
Session three, based on the previous set of 32 drawings produce a set of 16 with much more refined and complex detail. Then produce a page of 8 drawings, developed from the previous 16. Finally on a sheet of bond paper (18x18) produce a final piece of 4 drawings based on the previous set of 8.
